Dr. (Mrs.) Saumya Agrawal
Dr. Saumya Abhay Agrawal is a reassuring force behind frenzied scenes, one who calms frayed tempers and soothes ruffled feathers. A scholar with distinction during her preparatory years, she obtained her B.D.S. degree in 1993 from KLE’s Dental College, Belgaum, Karnataka, and then won a Fellowship in Dental Implants from the International College of Oral Implants in 2005.
She received specialty training in Surgical Implants and Implant Prosthodontics from the Indian Academy of Interdisciplinary Dentistry in 2003, and also received training in Oral Implants at the Advanced Dental Care Centre, Pune, in 2004.
Further, Dr. Saumya underwent training in implants in the Netherlands under Dr. Rudd Hertel and Dr. Mynen, and in Lyon, France, under Dr. Francis. Her areas of special interest are Aesthetic and Cosmetic Dentistry; Smile Designing; Oral Dental Implants; and Full Mouth Rehabilitation.
Dr. Saumya has participated in several national and international workshops and symposia, including one on “Success towards Implants” at the second Asian Frialit 2 Implant Symposium; the second International Congress of IAO, Singapore; the third International Congress of IAO (2005); and workshops on “Finer Aspects in Crown & Bridge”, Mumbai (2005); and “Finer Aspects in Porcelain Laminate & Veneers (2006).
She is a member of the Indian Academy of Aesthetic & Cosmetic Dentistry (IAACD), the Indian Dental Association, the International Congress of Oral Impantologists, the Indian Academy of Osseointegration (IAO) and so on.
